Thom Robson is a composer based in the United Kingdom. He has written music for several feature films, including the BIFA winning film 'Strings' (dir. Rob Savage) and 'Anatomy of a Love Seen' (dir. Marina Rice Bader), set to be released later in 2014.
He also composed soundtracks for a number of award winning short films. These include 'Sit in Silence' (dir. Rob Savage) which won the BFI Future Film Award and was chosen by Warwick Davies to launch his multiverse channel, 'Carriages' (dir. Adam Palmer), winner of ‘Best Comedy’ at the Screentest Festival 2014 and 'Black Box' (dir. Adam Rae) which has been shown at a number of different film festivals across the world.
Alongside his work in film, Thom composed the score for 'The Spring Tide' (dir. Graham Hubbard), a play that ran for three weeks in London, September 2013. He also wrote the soundtrack for the videogame 'Morphopolis' (Micro Macro Games) that gained a number of favourable reviews from critics.
Thom has also worked as a copyist for Sam Watts on the second series of the CBBC Television show, 'Wizards vs Aliens'. The score was performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Thom's work in advertising includes writing music for Kopparberg, Hiscox and Culture Label.
