Matthew is no stranger to cinematography. Having spent over 10 years as a photographer it was only natural for him to make the transition into film. It was his father’s love for the art that initially encouraged him to pick up his first camera, the Canon AE-1.
As a photographer, Matt spent his time understanding composition, light, and story-telling through imagery. The love for the trade truly came though in his work. In addition to photography and cinematography, Matt has also spent time learning a unique art form called Time-Lapse. His work has been featured on NBC and used in many films.
Over the years this combination of technical skills and passion has taught him the importance of connecting with the audience and creating an emotional experience for them.
