    Hi Julie, thanks for your interest. The project was developed (in 2003) in a precursor to openFrameworks.

    In this scene, Joan's voice-sensitive costume is present whenever she is on stage. When she makes sounds, however, the costume responds by changing its shape.

    The 'script' calls for Joan to remain offstage for the first minute or so, while Jaap (performing as an abstracted David Attenborough) introduces the 'creature' we are about to see.
