Another thing I've noticed... when an embedded vimeo plays, it ends with posting an "also by..." that suggests three videos. The three videos suggested are the last ones uploaded, but not that ones I would choose to highlight.

Yes, viewers can sort albums on their own... I hate to belabor the point, but the desire to have control over how your videos and albums initially appear is all about curating your own material for that first impression. If I'm going through the trouble to write, edit, and direct my films, I also want to be able to define how they are presented. Giving up control on the last step (presentation) feels like a creative obstacle.
