A former nationally ranked forms and weapons competitor, Travis Wong remains the youngest inductee into the "Inside Kung Fu: Hall of Fame" at the age of 14. Retiring from competition in 2001, he left the circuit as a 7 time national forms & weapons champion with only 3 losses in thirteen years.
While obtaining a B.A. in Dramatic Arts/Theater & Dance from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), Travis was introduced to parkour & freerunning where he utilized his martial arts background to further his interest. He is currently 1 of only 21 international athletes selected to represent the World Freerunning & Parkour Federation (WFPF), and was recently named the host of MTVs Ultimate Parkour Challenge premiering May 6, 2010! Most recently Travis has begun leaving his impact upon the dance industry, integrating martial arts into dance and creating breathtaking visual depictions with a modern twist. He is a feature character in Director Jon M. Chu’s “Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (LXD),” an upcoming web series being hailed as the most elite dance group ever assembled. Travis has been a guest coordinator on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” bringing his expertise to the “Martial Arts Challenge,” and along with fellow LXD member/choreographer Chris Scott, Travis was fortunate enough to assist in choreographing Miley Cyrus encore number “See You Again” on her 2009 national tour.

Of his many ventures, Travis is most notably proud of opening the White Lotus Martial Arts Center (Northridge, CA) which has become recognized through the online communities for its attempt to join all forms of movement. It has become a home to some of the most renown trickers, breakdancers, & freerunners in the United States, whom Travis has been fortunate to train with.

Hey Rishi. I understand where you are coming from, I'm also a member of Jon Chu's LXD and we have tried to do similar things with tricking and parkour using high frame rates etc in some of our episodes. My argument/point would be that the simple moves look like faked jumps or falling. For example, one of the highlights of your video where Dante flips over the camera and looks could easily be faked by anyone with no experience especially with the ground not being shown...If you frame up as you did, anyone could eventually jump over and crash to a pad and you'd get the same shot...if you showed a twist or even the start of one, you can guarantee that there is some performance authenticity or a higher level of skill involved. Just my opinion but simply cause I know the risks involved when doing more than just the basic tricks.

It's not hate it's constructive criticism. I'm a working stunt professional with many credits, 1 of 25 sponsored members of the World Freerunning Parkour Federation, MC for RedBull Art of Motion, & the host of MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge, and the youngest inductee into the martial arts hall of fame. I've seen and know my fair share to offer my opinion, do your research sir. Just because his movements weren't impressive doesn't mean I'm hating, he very well could do much more and maybe it wasn't shown...Thus my opinion of saying why I was bored to lend advice either to him or the person that shot it. Plz be quiet
