17 year old Tony “T-REP” Betton, Jr. is making a worldwide impact with his music as well as with his other versatile talents. Influenced by a blend of very different artists, T-REP’s songwriting, rapping and singing is imbedded with Pop, Hip Hop, R&B as well as Inspirational styles. His talents have been so impactful, that since the age of 9, he has grown to become a multi-talented & multi-award winning teen prodigy and a much respected youth leader throughout the Metro Atlanta and far beyond it. He’s shared stages with a mixture of both mainstream secular and inspirational celebrity artists, models, actors, athletes, politicians, and more such as Usher, Ludacris, T.I., Jacob Latimore, Travis Porter, Rich Kids, Ruben Studdard, Young Jeezy, Nadji Jeter, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Lecrae, Tye Tribbett, Dr. Bobby Jones, Donnie McClurkin, Kierra Sheard, Congressman John Lewis, Ambassador Andrew Young, Martin Luther King, III, Bernice King, Al Sharpton, Mayor Kasim Reed, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, and many many more. He’s been featured on high profile projects such as President Obama’s Musical Soundtrack for his documentary “Becoming Barack – Evolution Of A Leader” and Dr. Gregory McPherson’s “Let There Be Peace On Earth” which is currently being promoted as the theme song for The United Nations and The Noble Peace Awards. T-REP is often called upon to participate in high profile events to represent successfully active youth within the community as well as nationally, while highlighting his various talents and speaking skills.
T-REP is also an actor, model, TV/radio/event host, DJ, entrepreneur, youth leader & public speaker, who has appeared on major network television stations, syndicated radio shows and worldwide magazines and top internet sites, such as Cartoon Network, BET, The Word Network, Comcast, JCTV/TBN, 102.5, V-103, I AM Entertainment Magazine, Black Celebrity Kids Magazine, The Bobby Jones TV Show, The Donnie McClurkin Show and more. He’s been consistently winning awards and recognition since the age of 10, including Ruben Studdard’s Teen Talent Competition, the Atlanta Model Productions Film & Fashion Board’s Top Child Talent Competition, McDonald’s Youth Talent Competition Top 10 Finalist, A Donnie McClurkin Amazing Kid, as well as a Stellar Award Top 4 Nominee, just to name a few and is also signed to the world renowned J. Pervis Talent Agency. T-REP was recently awarded a full scholarship to attend a 3-week Musical Theatre Intensive Training Program at Atlanta’s Fabulous Fox Theatre.

T-REP, which stands for Tony – Representing Everything Positive, is far more than just entertainment. He also understands the importance of volunteerism, philanthropy, community service and being a positive role model. He is the Ambassador for The Business Development Initiative’s Youth Entrepreneur Program as well as for the National U Hatin’ University Anti-Bullying Campaign, member of National Action Network’s Youth Move, and a mentee of R&B Superstar Usher’s New Look Youth Leadership Academy being appointed as Youth Ambassador, Rising Star and Youth Leader, utilizing his talents to be powered by service to develop community, national and global service projects. He has been closely involved with the Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless Foundation as well as the Historic Sweet Auburn Festival, both since the age of 10, in addition to other well known community programs. He received a Certificate of Training from Martin Luther King, III himself in behalf of The Historic King Center and Emory University after receiving a scholarship and completing The Kingian Nonviolence Program, which certified him to teach Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s philosophy on Nonviolence to middle and high school students. He has also received a Certificate Of Training from Usher Raymond IV and Emory University certifying him as a local youth trainer and is currently earning hours to earn is national and international training certifications. T-REP has become a highly respected youth leader and advocate, and was recently recognized by 100 Black Men of DeKalb County as a Youth Leader & Entrepreneurial Honoree.

T-REP is a hard working academic scholar who has maintained a 3.7 GPA, and even with his very busy career schedule, is a full time and deeply involved fine arts magnet high school honor student who has been inducted into Claes Nobles National Society of High School Scholars, The Elite Scholars Society, The National Honor Society, The International Thespian Society, The National Beta Club, a Drama Club Officer, The International Key Club and a Student Government member, awarded three as the Most Outstanding Theatre Freshman, Sophomore & Junior, nominated three times for the Governor’s Honors Program, and crowned his Homecoming Court’s Mr. Sophomore.
