Two grass creatures on either side of a river raise themselves up from the ground. They constantly fight over non sequitur arguments in an effort to shift the river border and acquire more land. While battling it out they are magically made into a hotel. Occupants should not forget their passports as their rooms shift from one side of the border to the other.

Two people living together need to balance their lives. But every movement in this precarious space shifts that balance. Fortunately the furniture is all hinged. Even when the floor is falling out from under you, the basic amenities always remain level.

This single unit combines the toilet with the sink. Waste and wash are neatly accessible in one place. Since two people could utilize the combo at the same time it could also serve well for a communal bathroom, should anyone ever want that. In this animation the units are set up like musical chairs. When the music stops the person must also stop and utilize whatever they find by their side. 3:00 min., 2001.

Based on the use of self-replicating materials used in Nanoarchitecture Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye’s own shadow tramples on the building, pushing out pink innards. These breathing blobs also stick to the shadow “monster”, adding to the changing form of the structure. In this animation the “machine for living in” is now a living machine. 2:00 min., 2007

Moai sculptures are really stone biker apes whose marks they draw on the earth with their motorcycles create cutouts for a grass monster. This monster they created proceeds to fold the ocean into an airplane that chases the biker apes and leads them into the ocean when the water airplane unfolds itself beneath them. What the biker apes create leads to their very demise.
