20 Minutes To Park is still kickin’, screamin’, and rockin’ after 7 years!

After playing hundreds of shows, meeting a palette of interesting people, and creating dozens of songs along the way, we are finally realizing what it really means to be musicians. It doesn’t have much to do with guitar technicality, rock star outfits, album artwork, or Twitter followers – even though these might help a little. Sustainability in music though, revolves around one vital attribute – sincerity.

Our goal as musicians is to capture that sincerity and never let it escape. We just want to create music that we love, and hope that you, too, will fall in love with it.

To sum things up – we are just a couple guys that love creating music.

Some further background on us:

Back in 2002 we were both sitting in our dorm rooms at Indiana University Bloomington doing whatever it is college students do (probably downloading music illegally). About a semester in to our freshman year we met and discovered each other’s respective passion for music. Soon we were writing, recording, and playing-out as much as possible. That continued through all four years of college – traveling further and playing more as we gained experience.

Graduation came and so was born our first EP, "Can’t Stand Still" – an 8-song history of our experiences throughout college.

The road became an addiction, and we soon had well over 100,000 miles clocked on our beautifully broken van (named "Humpty"), which was also our bed so many hot/cold miserable nights. We loved it, and still do.

This past year we’ve taken a break to record all the tunes we wrote while on the road, write more, and to get our bearings. It’s hard to tell where you’re headed when you’re spinning in a million different directions.

Now, in 2009, we’re getting ready to put out our first single in two years, "Australia." That’s not it though, we have a new album on its way as well…four albums in the next year if it all goes to plan!

Again, we just want to create music that we love, and hope that you, too, will fall in love with it.

Sustainability in music revolves around one vital attribute – sincerity.
