I fancy myself as a designer and coach, living life as a piece of jazz music, searching for the keenest possibilities to make a most complete expression of my own and my client’s talents.
I've focused my personal expression on community storytelling through photography and filmmaking. This madness all began with an 8mm spoof of Dragnet, made with pals in 1955. Then to documentary film studies at Cornell and mockumentaries of fraternity life, followed by informal film studies at UCLA. I wrote, directed and produced the film ‘24 Minutes of Lemons‘ with the Porsche Club of Los Angeles and integrated interactive video storytelling in my personal and workgroup coaching processes over a twenty five year span. I founded and taught community storytelling with the NorthWest School of Documentary Vision and recently edited and directed documentary profiles of remarkable artists in the US and documented the Lyceum Youth Theatre/Port Townsend High School Drama exchange, and is directing a documentary for BP.
I was one of four founders of the Port Townsend Film Festival and currently sit on the board of Northwest Open Media, a teaching and web production not-for-profit focused on community storytelling.

Jim Ewing commented on cortometraje comunion 2012 by krasi ivanov Just lovely. Your subjects are so attractive and your eye, the camera and your workflow do them justice. An inspiration for me, as I am contemplating the GH2, actually two of them for a project which will put our work through a DCI 2K projector onto a 20
