I am a contemporary dance choreographer, performer, and teacher based in New York City. As a freelance artist, I create my own work, perform, and guest teach across the country. I am originally from Denver, Colorado, and hold an MFA degree in dance from the University of Utah.
I have been working professionally for over 15 years in projects that have involved dance, theater, opera, and film; reaching out to various communities and arts education institutions globally.
I have been a featured company member of Doug Varone and Dancers (2001 - 2010), a New York City based dance company and I have also served as a guest artist with the José Limón Dance Company (2008 - 2010), one of America’s most respected and historic dance companies honoring the legacy of the late choreographer José Limón. It has been a privilege to have participated in such a vibrant body of inspiring work and processes.
I have also had the pleasure to work for and collaborate with many amazing artists/arts organizations along the way, some of which include: Gallim Dance, Keith Johnson/Dancers, Shapiro and Smith Dance, Elizabeth Motley Dance, ARENA Dances, Company XIV, the Aquila Theater Company, the Music Theater of Wichita, and the Metropolitan Opera.
Current interests: Freelance teaching at the professional, collegiate, and secondary level, Digital Media, Video Game Art, NFL (Denver Broncos), iOS app development, and iPhoneography
