I forgot, SV9 makes two additional files as well... I don't know another software but think hard of it...:)

yes I capture video with SV9, the .m2t files (HDV), the output after rendering is the same so if I don't change any parameters during rendering SV9 says "no recompression required"... it takes short time
I can use the files .m2t to watch on my TV and the same files are input to NERO when burning Bluray, so the files are very useful...:)
