Dr Paul Darke is an artist, filmmaker and disability studies & culture critic. Born in England, in Surrey, he now resided in the English Midlands. He runs a Disability Arts organisation called Outside Centre (outside-centre.info) and works for DASH as their Visual Arts Manager in Shrewsbury. He is also the curator and director of the National Disability Film Day 2010 (happening in December 2010). To many he is an ego-maniac but he is, in fact, a sensitive, gentle soul of insight, wisdom and care.
