As a finalist in the prestigious 2008 Pro Photographer Showdown, Dan has already proven his expertise behind the lens in his short career. His work has been featured in ski and snowboard magazines from Japan to Canada and everywhere in between as well as innumerable commercial campaigns for an ever widening list of clients.

During the winter you will find him hanging out in British Columbia, Canada shooting alongside the worlds top snowsports athletes and film companies in the never ending quest for the perfect images from his white, wintery world.

    Hi Pepito,

I will explain when it is totally finished. Having tried this today I can see i need to make adjustments and I dont want to give people all the info about it until it is completed. Once I am happy with the results I will post everything on my blog and probably post a new video up here. I was in two minds as to whether to post this vid as it is sort of a "work in progress" so bear with me while I get the bugs ironed out! Alternatively you can google ZaZaSlider and you will find some information in the meantime.

Cool, this looks good! Did it get much much rougher when it was way colder then? or do you think its something that could be smoothed out in post ?

Manuel, it might be because its damn hard to focus long shots without any sort of auto focus system. If you have a moving subject and a short depth of field its pretty hard. i think it can be made easier by using an external monitor and a follow focus or something like that but I dont have any of that and things shot at 200mm were hard to keep sharp.

Thanks guys!! Rutecki, the shot at 2.43 is an 85mm 1.8 , a lot of the lifestyle shots in there were with that lens. Theres a 17-40 in there, 24-105, 70-200, 45mm tilt shift, 85mm 1.8 and 15mm fisheye. I think maybe a 50mm 1.8 too somewhere.
