We think of our music as atmospheric, melodic, piano-based baroque pop. Its got classical influence, some post-rock elements, british-rock/pop aspects and a fairly large dose of that northwest autumnal moodiness. The lyrics tend towards the surreal and the music's got eclectic drumming styles, baritone vocals, pianos, organs, synths, strings, bass, baritone and layers of electric guitars, glockenspiel, noises; with things like mountain dulcimer, harpsichord, auto-harp and throat singing making guest appearances. We'd like to think the songs might conjure up things like fog, hills, space, old-world carnivals, vague disaster, and a compass rose.
