John Nooney
Writer, Photographer, Caregiver, Partner, Lover, Friend, Curmudgeon. I'm currently taking care of my 85 year old mom. She lives with my partner and I (or, I guess I should say we live in her house.) I recently read an article in the NYT about men being caregivers, and that it's estimated that there are 17million men in the US providing care to an elderly parent (a role that was once mainly relegated to women). I've started a blog, called NoonTime Break (noontimebreak.com) which I am hoping becomes a place that caregivers can come and have a break. Just as workers take a lunch time break for sustenance, so too do caregivers need a small break to relax and laugh, unwind and meditate. I've been wandering around Vimeo searching for videos that are humorous to post on my blog, as well as videos that I call "Zen Moments" -- those videos that just wrap you in the beauty of the image and the sound. A few moments of Zen can fill the soul for the rest of the day. So, thanks to all you who post the beautiful videos I've been sharing. They inspire me and give me comfort; I hope they do the same for others.

Sorry, John Nooney doesn't have any videos yet.
