Pat Kane, 44, is author of The Play Ethic: A Manifesto for a Different Way of Living (Macmillan, 2004), and consults to educators, technologists, and organisations on the power of play. His clients have included Nokia, Lego Serious Play, the Cabinet Office, the Scottish Executive, Scottish Enterprise, the Scottish Arts Council, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and the Victoria Innovation Education Commission in Australia.
