Trina has toured the U.S., Europe and Japan, performing in many major cities and venues such as Kobe’s Xebec Hall, L.A.’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and New York’s Symphony Space, among many others. She was a featured performer at the Mel Powell retrospective at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in 1990, celebrating his Pulitzer Prize for Musical Composition and contributing to the CD compilation. Trina was a member of the Daniel Lentz Group for six years and worked with a variety of contemporary composers in addition to Mel Powell and Daniel Lentz, including John Adams, Louis Andreissen, Milton Babbitt, Luciano Berio, John Cage, Morton Feldman, John Harbison, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Steven Stucky, Morton Subotnick, Toru Takemitsu and many others, on World and U.S. Premiere performances of new music and studio recordings. Labels include Harmonia Mundi and Aoede. Trina studied with world renowned pianists Leonid Hambro, Jorg Demus, Aki Takahashi, Delores Stevens and Bryan Pezzone. She received her MFA and BFA from California Institute of the Arts.
