    I find this isn't as bad in 1080p mode but yes, the 7D has some issues.. but the only other option is the gh1 with it's wimpy codec.

    Gunther you should be hired by panasonic because just when I thought I have seen enough issues with the panasonic codec on the gh1, and I am ready to buy the canon 7d, I see your footage and start to question again that maybe there is still hope for the panny.

    awesome! Thanks. I am still having a VERY hard time deciding between this Panasonic GH1 & the canon 7D. This has the wimpy codec issues & more jello vision on camera moves (to my eyes) than the 7D. The 7D has a WAY better codec (over twice the bandwidth) but a slightly softer image.

    how did you save back to a m2t file? this looks really good except for the mush in the tombstone. I wonder why you don't seem to be getting any jello vision here with your hand holding while with other similar shots from others the jello really bad. Damn I can't decide between the GH1 with it's wimpy codec or the Canon 7D with it's softness. Argggg.
