Having lived, worked, and travelled in and around the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and South East Asia all my life, I've developed into something of a nomad.
After spending many years in Dubai, we moved to Greece and then to England. I moved to Hong Kong with my wife Tracey in September 2009, where we now live in the New Territories.
I'm passionate about digital photography and I've worked part-time over the last 4 years doing freelance work shooting portraits, events, and landscape subjects, and I'm very fortunate to have some of my images appear in publications such as Time Out Hong Kong, Asia Spa and Asia Tatler's online magazine, and a few blogs too.
I like to travel, and in 2006 I began to invest more time and money in bringing my two passions together.
In an ideal world I'd be travelling the globe shooting amazing things for Nat Geo, and maybe one day I will, but I'm also very happy when someone likes my work enough to hang some on their walls, or print them in a magazine.
I'm so over the photoshop-phobia that can limit some people's approach to digital photography, it's all about time, technique, and technology, and it should be embraced. I enjoy the challenge of capturing publication-quality shots as much as I enjoy putting some creative funk in a photograph of something that you would normally walk past every day without truly appreciating. You can find art everywhere, it's all around us.
Many of my images are for sale. If you have any questions about purchasing my work, please don't hesitate in dropping me a line via the contact form.
I plan to exhibit more in the future, look out for updates on my blog or Facebook page.
Thanks for the visit, I look forward to hearing from you.
