Kris Wong is a freelance designer / director in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and was first brought into the design world through the 90s surf culture of David Carson. He then moved on to worship Michel Gondry. Kris was killed in the process of making a film involving a 2 hour long, 400-person choreographed greenscreen phantom camera technicrane shot with pyrotechnics and laserbeams.
Right when he was about to die of exhaustion, he woke up from his dream and wrote it all down, but the pen was out of ink so he went to the University of Washington's School of Art to retrieve one. In the process of writing this dream down, he got his BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts in 2005, and continued writing his dream, but now with crayons at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The dream forced him to learn motion graphics because it was beyond his understanding, so in 2008 he got a BFA in Graphic Design while he was there.
