David Zennie is an American Lebanese director who has directed over 50 professional productions working on several formats such as 35mm, RED EPIC, ARRI ALEXA, and IDT’s high-speed camera The Diablo. He is currently based in Dubai and is acclaimed to be one of the youngest visionary directors in the Middle East.
Since directing his first television for Wrigley’s chewing gum at the age of 14 David has perfected his skill behind the lens working with several leading companies and organizations including Abu Dhabi Municipality, UAE Red Crescent, Dubai Islamic Bank, Takaful Emarat, Atlantis The Palm, Saudi Bin Ladin Group and Saudi Electricity Company where he has provided his directorial expertise in the areas of Television Commercial Production, Corporate Film Production, Training Films, and Internal Corporate Communication.
David has also pioneered a new vision into the Middle East’s entertainment industry where he has directed many of the regions first Hip Hop music videos dating back to 2008 with several of them topping #1 on MTV Arabia’s International Express Chart. Having crossed over into Arabic music videos David was nominated for the 2010-2011 MurexD’or Award for best Arabic Music Video of the Year for “Mawhoum” by Lebanese singer Joseph Attieh. Most recently David has directed for many regional and international artists including Sandy (Egypt), Karl Wolf (Canada/Lebanon), Foreign Beggars (UK), Joe Ashkar (Lebanon), Yo Yo Honey Singh (Punjab/India) and Sofia Marikh (Morocco).
