A visit to Château Soutard is a historical journey and an opportunity to share a very French art of living. Overlooked by the bell tower of Saint-Émilion church, the estate rejoices in its glorious past while at the same time asserting a true spirit of modernity. Its wines reflect this, possessing a unique style that echoes the formidable potential of the limestone plateau.
Acquired in 2007 by the insurance company AG2R La Mondiale, which already owned the adjacent estates of Château Larmande (Grand Cru Classé) and Château Grand Faurie La Rose (Grand Cru), Château Soutard has just undergone an impressive renovation programme. Carried out sympathetically and with great respect for this jewel in the crown of Saint-Émilion, this extensive work marks a new beginning for the estate.
Our ambition is crystal clear: to strive to make Château Soutard a Premier Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion.
