The Biennale Interieur, known for its uncompromising international selection of contemporary design, has been a strong force in the field of design events since it took place for the first time in 1968. Unlike other trade fair organisers, Interieur adopted the status of a non-profit organisation from the start and brought an innovative model to represent design as a cultural as well as a commercial entity. The 23rd Biennale Interieur will bring change and - at the same time - reinforce its connections with the avant-garde spirit of its creative roots.
