A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Erica Hart has studied film and television at the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. With a plethora of productions in her portfolio, ranging from documentaries to fictional films, she continues to broaden her range of storytelling. She returned from Dublin, Ireland in 2010 where she studied music video production and made the official music video for Irish singer and songwriter BriBry for his song, “A Poem I’ll Sing Out Loud”. This music video has been screened in film festivals around the country including the Los Angeles New Wave Film Festival and the World International Film Festival in Washington, DC. She has also been interested in the casting aspect of filmmaking since studying at NYU. With more than ten student and independent films she has cast in the past three years, from Waves in 2009 to What You Left in the Ditch in 2012, each film has been filled with learning experiences, challenges, and smiles to last a lifetime. ☺ ☺ ☺ Erica isn’t only a filmmaker, but a dancer, a percussionist and a pianist.
