That's me up there, former film cinematographer (16 mm, mostly Arri SR). Been to about 20 countries shooting dozens of films. Won NY International Film Festival one time. Canadian Film & TV Awards.

Switched to video production mid 1980s after getting the Russian KGB really mad!

Got out of video and into the net in 2000 because corporate video budgets tanked. Now I have a Sony FX1000 and making video for the web. The next five years will be absolutely awesome for small cam video production. My FX 1000 makes super chromakey and that will be the bulk of my business.

I appreciate those with the "eye" even though they may not have an expensive camera - they know what a composition is - how movement works - and the relationship between light and mood.

And - I do appreciate those who take the time to do a decent test on a camera. I have seen a few that lock the camera down and repeat the test - love that kinda discipline! Keep it up guys.
