Mark’s work has been called “remarkable and accomplished,” “important and evocative" and “fascinating." He is described as “someone to watch closely.”

A twelve-year veteran of the NYC television and indie film scene, Mark received his MFA at the University of South Florida where he studied the techniques of experimental filmmaking. His documentary The Absolute Truth About Pro Wrestling (producer, director, editor) was a festival favorite worldwide from India to Canada to Washington state; it was named Best Venue Film at the ReelHeart International Film Festival in 2006.

Currently, his dramatic feature film directorial debut Across Dot Ave. is screening in festivals across the globe and is nominated for Best Feature at the International Film Festival, England. He also recently completed editing the indie feature The Longest Yardsale which was named Best Low Budget Feature at the Houston Film Festival. He has worked on countless cable t.v. reality series and independent documentaries.

He is a formerly a professor of Digital Film at the Katharine Gibbs School and a professor of Graphic Design at Touro College, both in NYC.

His production company Two Avenues, LLC is developing several scripts and projects for production in 2009 and 2010.
