Graduation in Portuguese Language and Culture by the Faculty Of Humanities, Lisboa (2002) and post-graduation in Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE)_ (2003). Teacher of PLE since 2003.
Musician since 1996 founding punk bands as Malina, urban folk with Lupanar, a tecno-power duo withTochapestana. Collector of old vinyls, DJ in the free times and Romantic singer as profession. Soundtrack composerfor theatre, dance and films.
Founder of NuCiVo (Cine-Club of the Faculty of Humanities in Lisbon) with large activity in programming cinema, production and making films within the range of video-politic-activism (animation and documentary).
Organizer of the intensive Workshop in Documentary Video “Oficina do Olhar” (2004/2005). Member of the ABC Cine-Club Lisboa.
Director (with Catherine Villeret) of two videoclips for the new fado portuguese band "Deolinda".
“Balaou” was his debut feature film winning two awards in the Indielisboa 07 festival.
Is currently preparing his new long documentary about the smallest island of the Azores, the Island of Corvo.
