My name is Brad Robertson. I'm a filmmaker and producer with a BA in Cinema from San Francisco State University and certificates in digital video editing, post production and motion graphics from the Bay Area Video Coalition.
I have 14 years professional production experience as a grip, location sound recordist, camera assistant, art director, videographer, director and editor, having worked on a number of independent feature films, commercials, short format documentaries, corporate and music videos for clients big and small.
Since 2006 I’ve been an archivist and editor at the San Francisco Media Archive and its partner organization, Oddball Film and Video, researching and compiling preview screeners for film and television productions including Focus Features (for Milk, by Gus Van Zandt), PBS (for Jonestown: The Life and Death of People's Temple and Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst) and Beyond Entertainment (for Myth Busters).
I have also worked professionally as a graphic designer (San Francisco Bay Guardian, Pinwheel Design Studio) as well as a musician and independent recording engineer working in both digital and analog environments. These jobs have provided me with invaluable experience working with important post-production and collateral media programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Flash, and ProTools.
