Jason Robert Bell

Artist, Jason Robert Bell, as born and raised in Houston, Texas-the proverbial youth as an economically disfranchised and misunderstood, yet talented social outcast. Made good by graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA 1995) and the Yale School of Art (MFA 2000). Now lives in New York City, Bell's paintings, drawings, experimental films, sculptures, graphic works, internet pieces, outdoor installations, and theatrical performances have been exhibited and performed in New York, Boston, Chicago, Kansas City, Miami, Washington D.C, Baltimore, San Francisco, and Tokyo. He is represented by Thomas Robertello Gallery, His work was the subject of a ten year retrospective at the Hans Weiss Newspace Gallery in Manchester, CT which then traveled to The John Slade Ely House Center for Contemporary Art in New Haven, CT.
