Since receiving a bachelor of dance degree from Melbourne’s prestigious Victorian College of the Arts in 2004, Lee Serle has contributed to the work of several, companies, notably Lucy Guerin Inc and Chunky Move, with which he has performed both nationally and internationally. His choreographic credits include *A Little Murky* for Lucy Guerin's Pieces for Small Spaces, *I’m in Love* and *On It Goes*, for the Next Wave Festival in Melbourne, and *P.O.V.*, a site-specific dance developed for Astor Hall in the New York Public Library, also presented at Arts House for Dance Massive 2013. He was also commissioned to make his latest work *Sync* for the Lyon Opera Ballet in France.
In 2010-2011, Serle studied with seminal dancer and choreographer Trisha Brown in New York City, as part of the Rolex Mentor & Protege Arts Initiative', performing and developing new work for the Trisha Brown Dance Company.
Lee received a Creative Australia Fellowship in 2012 to continue developing his solo choreographic practice in Melbourne, New York and Beirut through 2014.
