I believe in freedom and personal liberty and am committed to standing for freedom in all circumstances. I believe that freedom is best protected by a virtuous and moral people who are educated and well informed.

I believe that God has given every person his inalienable right to the free exercise of his agency. That does not make him free from the consequences of how he chooses to use his agency. That freedom and liberty encompasses the right to succeed and the right to fail, not the right to be bailed out by another.

In order for someone to practice charity the freedom to give of their property without any means of coercion or any method of redistributing their property without their consent must be protected.

I believe that a man's right to life, liberty, and property in the pursuit of happiness is given to him by God and that man is accountable to God in exercising these rights.
