Roaring Girl Productions

Roaring Girl Productions is a creative media projects company based in Bristol, UK, and founded by writer-director and activist Liz Crow.

Our current project is a dual-screen moving image installation that will tour galleries and museums from autumn 2009.

The installation explores a neglected period of history and raises critical questions for today. Its starting point is the Nazi programme of mass-murder targeting disabled people and, crucially, disabled people’s resistance to it. But what does this history mean for all of us now, disabled or not? How do we learn from it and find a better way forward?
