I was born in Texas and raised in San Jose CA. My passion is covering the Latino community. I am a graduate of the TV/ Doc program at the Graduate School of Journalism at at UC Berkeley. Before going back to school I worked as a reporter for New America Media. I am currently an Editor at hyperlocal news site Missionlocal.org. My favorite video shoots this year included low-riders in Arizona, fashion week in Africa, and the housing projects in San Francisco's Mission District.
