Rory grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a BA in English from Yale University and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University. Rory wrote, directed, and edited the documentary ‘Toxic Soup,’ which made its national broadcast TV premiere on Free Speech TV. 'Toxic Soup' was an Official Selection of the 2010 Atlanta Film Festival, New Jersey Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, Louisville International Festival of Film, KahBang Film Festival and American Conservation Film Festival, among others. Delaney also produced and directed 'Mountain Man,' an official selection of the 2011 Raindance Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival and the Culture Unplugged Film Festival. In 2010 Delaney was named a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steve Beshear. Rory lives in LA with his fiancee Maya Meinert and their two pugs.
