Rory Owen Delaney grew up in Louisville, KY but currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife Maya Meinert and their two pugs. Rory wrote, directed and edited THE RIVALRY: RED V. BLUE the first movie to document college basketball's ultimate rivalry: Kentucky-Louisville. Before RED V. BLUE Rory co-produced BOMB IT 2 after writing and directing the feature documentary TOXIC SOUP, as seen on HULU, Free Speech TV, Explora TV and Ushuaia TV. Delaney also wrote and directed the short doc MOUNTAIN MAN, which was an official selection of the 2011 Raindance Film Festival and the Santa Cruz Film Festival, among others. His most recent short doc VIRTUAL IRAQ REDUX was named one of 100 semifinalists in the 2012 Focus Forward Filmmaker Challenge. In 2010 Rory was named an honorary Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steve Beshear. Delaney holds a BA in English from Yale University and an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University.
