Alicia Díaz Jiménez
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
International journalist turned writer/director; she was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. Correspondent for several news agencies and media, she specialized in reports on developing countries. Stationed throughout the years in Russia, the Czech Republic, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Peru, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Eritrea and Ethiopia.

Winner of the Young Writers Award of La Caja de Canarias. Jazz, blues and flamenco singer. Currently writing her 1st feature film Fight For Country.
