James Adamson was raised in the foothills of the sierra nevada mountains but currently resides in the vivid gray of San Francisco’s outer avenues. While his body of work is varied, his nature photography showcases the travelogue of an ardent mountaineer, combining the grit of a fanatical climber with the tenacity of a freelance photojournalist.
