Then there you go. Final Cut pro runs very nicely in a mac, and its designed for it so you probably have more .mov files and etc. (Which that program likes) Anyways, Yes go for Final Cut pro. I would guess that you are not a pro on editing and stuff, right? If thats the case then Final Cut is for you. Its not that simple, but its not like After Effects, that needs some experience. Or a lot of time for tutorials. That program is more involved in writing commands and etc... Well i hope this was useful ;) And have fun spending a lot of hours editing a video lol We all love it but hate it sometimes haha ;D

Kind of the same thing happened to me. Instead the video from avi files wasnt importing and stuff. Apparently it must have something to do with codecs... Regarding the install thing, well if you bought it then just send sony an email and they should help you out on that matter, although apparently their tech support isnt very good :/ anyways. I guess you could download a torrent of the cracked version of sony vegas pro.. Check into that if thats your final option... cheers.
