It is rough and rhythmic garage rock in the manner of 60-s and it is fair to say it is almost punk but not too aggressive yet. In spite of some band members are quiet experienced musicians The Cavestompers! sounds like a teenage band that rehearses in the parent garage.

That was 2006 when drummer Gregory Eniosov and big fan of garage music Ivan “Kosmos” formed the act. For two years the band succeeded to unite the scene in Moscow and played more then 50 gigs all around the country. At the moment The Cavestompers! are going to make a tour in Europe in the summer 2009.

In November 2008 Portugal label Groovie Records issued the debut LP. The CD-version with 24 pages booklet (included rare pics, English and Russian texts) was brought out by band members (Plastic Cave Recors) in association with Noizer Records in the 1 January 2009. The first CDs with hand-made covers were sold in the New Year Tour (Perm’, Ufa, Samara, Tolyatti, St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Moscow).
