I am a curious video lover. I remember my first video edition. My daughter 3 year birthday. I used 2 VCR and 1 tape deck. I did a bunch of cuts form VCR to VCR. Worked good, for the resources I had. From The Rescuers Down Under when the little boy flying over the big eagle I got an idea to mix this shot with Pink Floyd's music Learning to Fly. I used the "flying whales" from Disney's Fantasia 2000 to fill up the rest and upload on YouTube, at that time do not have copyright issues like today even I didn't know nothing about. The movie still there but just can play here and few more countries. As a Brazilian Carnival lover, I start to make editions of my carnival movies. A year ago, I made my first video upload on my YouTube channel called Calefrancisco. Today, 1 year later I had 350 videos uploaded 3.000 accesses a day, 100.000 accesses a month, everybody who love Carnival, love and share my videos. My channel had close to 700.000 accesses 700 subscribers and as a YouTube top search still growing everyday getting more subscribers. When I found Vimeo, built by video lovers creator I realize something. I can get here the opportunity to learn a lot how make videos, because I am an autodidact video editor and now I will try to be a Videomaker .
