Brett Wilhelm is a photographer, videographer and technology specialist working regularly for a variety of national clientele including ESPN's X Games, Red Bull, Sports Illustrated, the NCAA, The New York Times and many more. Wilhelm specializes in action/adventure sports and environmental storytelling with occasional forays in to travel and food photography. In addition to freelance work for publications and commercial clients nationwide, Wilhelm also regularly consults on digital workflow for a variety of clients and maintains a strong commitment to education within the photography realm, stemming from previous work for over a decade as the Workshop Director for Rich Clarkson's highly regarded Summit Series of Photography Workshops.
When not managing Wilhelm Visual Works, he is on a seemingly life-long, semi-successful, quest to have photography fund his global nomadic lifestyle. He is accepting donations. When not skipping through Svenska or traipsing around Tanzania, he lives, works and plays in Boulder, CO, where he is highly regarded as a gallant man-about-town and prolific digital flâneur. Wilhelm was voted the 2006 "Person of the Year" by Time Magazine.
