My name is Max. I’m a male, born in 1994 somewhere in Spain, near the Mediterranean coast. I’m 18 years old. Both of my parents are Russian, who migrated to Spain 20 years ago. Thus, I speak Spanish, Russian and English very fluently.
I’ve been living all my life in a small village, known for its’ great calm beach and typical-white-Mediterranean houses. Currently I’m living in Chicago, doing my college degree there.
I don’t think people should have a single occupation for their entire life. I want to paint, write, sing, create, build, explore. I’m too open minded to hold to the idea of doing a single thing for the rest of my life. I don’t want to have multiple jobs, but to live my passions as they come through.
I don’t believe in materialism nor money. I don’t support any political party in particular, but I definitely believe in progress. Traditional conservative ideologies are not the right ones for me. I don’t believe in any religion neither.
I love nature (botany, wild animals, unexplored places), good music (folk, acoustic, indie, classic rock, surf rock, psychodelia, jazz, french house, blues, classic, boleros, orchestal…), good films (Wes Anderson, Kubrick… But I really love a little bit of everything, from the Godfather to Back to the Future)and some TV shows (Dexter, Community, The Office…). My favourite writers are Bukowski, Aldous Huxley and Hemingway.
I consider myself a cultivated person. Not in an intellectual way, but I have an ‘emotional intelligence’. I don’t know how to explain it. I just have broad general knowledge about many things, sensibility and empathy.
Individualism is my mantra. Collective groups tend to wash out your own personality. Being on your own brings the best of you.
“The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places.”
