    Brings early Polanski to mind. The simultaneous action in the fractured screen was wonderful. However, the bloodied/dead female figure needs - demands - more narrative relaease. Can't let you get away with that. It's too sophisticated a film to rely on paintings and books to explain the killer's motivation to the viewer without a diving a bit deeper - hard to do without being on the nose, but given your previous work, not something that can't be attained. Still, I like this film and where you and your group are going. I just want more! can't wait for you next film. Just don't let yourself off easy. The work is too good for that.
