Vincent Eaton is a storyteller in words, images and performance. His novel, SELF- PORTRAIT OF SOMEONE ELSE, was published by Viking Penguin, New York, in 1989 (to be make available in paperback in 2009 by Hidden People Limited), followed by short stories and personal essays appearing both online and off-line. Theater work, in the USA and Europe, has included work shown at the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies, most recently MAX DIX, ZERO TO SIX, which was awarded best original play (Stockholm, 2008); BOOM won the Mervyn Brisco award (The Hague, 2006), STAY won best original play plus Mervyn Brisco award (Brussels, 1984); THE MAN WHO WOULD FLOAT AWAY was a multi-nominated, award winning, comedy-drama at the Washington D.C. Theater Festival, 1998). He also writes, directs, edits short videos and digital stories, and is a voice actor. Video monologues and audio stories have begun appearing over the Internet. The publication of his humor book, “HOW TO FIND YOURSELF (or a reasonable facsimile)” is due in the summer of 2009 by Hidden People Publishing. He is based in Europe.
