Todd Bay
Following his graduation from the University of Puget Sound with a joint bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Business in the summer of 1993, Todd Bay spent the next decade of his life successfully managing private enterprises ranging from the financial administration of private schools to the sale of medical devices to the management of a commercial fleet of vehicles. In every instance, Bay increased sales, oversaw business expansion and created sustainable financial infrastructure to shepherd future growth and development.
In 2006, Bay followed his love of television and cinema to the Main Street Movie Company, where he worked uncredited as a producer on the company’s developing projects, and managed the distribution and marketing of the company’s existing properties. He singlehandedly reached landmarks unheard of in the niche genre, tripling revenues on released films’ rentals, negotiating previously unattainable pay-per-view distribution deals, and securing partnerships with feature film distribution companies.
In 2008, Bay partnered with entertainment lawyer, Joseph Pia, to create media development company: Screen Entertainment, LLC; and later, Bay Entertainment & Media, through which he negotiated the development of a fully-equipped motion picture studio in Summit County, Utah. In addition to his business ventures, Bay is currently working as an Executive Producer on the television miniseries "This is the Place," slated for a Fall 2009 release, which he created with screenwriting partner, Christopher Larsen.
Bay lives in Heber City, Utah with his wife, Carrie and their five children.
