Postcode Films was founded in 2007 to create and facilitate documentary films about the relationship between place and identity. Our award-winning work has been screened at film festivals across the UK and internationally.
Coming from backgrounds of anthropology, sociology, photography and education, we aim to create and deliver projects and films that are socially meaningful for all participants, both in front of, and behind the camera. Our approach to filmmaking acts as a tool for promoting active citizenship and social inclusion.
We deliver film workshops in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and community groups, through which we enable participants to discover new ways of learning about the world around them.
We conduct ethnographic film research for public and third sector organisations.
