Tony Mason first entered the realm of movie making with his short film 131.9 cents per litre. The film won many competitions, touring the world with the Jack Mccoy film featival. Since then he has embraced his gift and has pushed forward with his debut feature "KOOKMAN".

Tony Mason grew up in Melbourne under the influences of his father David Mason, a well known photographer with T.V week and channel nine. As an artist Tony developed at an early age and invested much of his time working on his craft. As an actor he studied at The National Theatre Drama School and was personally trained by Kenny Ransom from the L.A Shakespearean Company. His work then developed from there into a study of filmmaking and the process involved.

Tony is an artist who does not find limitations with what he can do. In Tony's films he has always written, directed, produced and edited. To add to this, Tony is a singer songwriter and has been commited to the film scoring as well. Most of this develops a theme behind his work, to express the capabilities we have in todays society, to show people that a story is the first and foremost important ingredient to the process. He is determined to break the ice in such a cut throat industry that is continually sifting the good from the bad.

Tony has always believed that the greatest communicative tool in the world is the arts and it is his desire to penetrate values and standards of living through media.
