Pete Bell

As a long-time advocate for environmental conservation I have evolved into a river and water specialist. As vice president of the Foothill Conservancy I work to preserve our wonderful communities in the central Sierra foothills, but as a steering committee member of the California Hydropower Reform Coalition, I work on returning environmentally sustainable flows in rivers all over California.
I am 59 years young and have resided near the swinging metropolis of Volcano (population 99) for 30 years.
