Capital Cooking is the first television show of its kind. DC is more

capital is unique among American cities. Like San Francisco, Chicago or New York, it’s home to its residents, an anchor for the surrounding region and a destination for people from around the world.
Capital Cooking gives viewers an inside look into our nation’s
capital and Lauren hits the streets to find out what Washingtonians
consider “DC cuisine.” Lauren will also cook with professional
chefs, learn the details of their careers, and incorporate
entertaining tips for her viewers. She will teach her viewers how
to make recipes with ingredients that can be found at local stores.
Viewers will learn the fine points of completing the fresh, simple,
and colorful recipes.
