der hess commented on moogaloop player, bug in flash 100%

Hi Aquest, yeah I also think that the moogaloop API is still buggy... The API command for FullScreen throws an Error, if you used it inside Flash... In my VimeoPlayer Classes ) don't do anything with a Stage Command. I think that weird behavior comes from the loaded SWF (the Moogaloop API) Dear Vimeo Staff team, please make your API more stable! I know that you ignore my classes.... I got a lot of positive feedback from this, so please make the API more stable and please add the LoadEvent to your API. I think your business model will benefit from this!! At last AQuest, how did you removed this MouseOver behavior? Did you deleted the Stage.MouseOver Listener? Thx!

Hi, maybe it works, when you stop the Event Flow with one of this commands Event.stopPropagation() Event.stopImmediatePropagation() preventDefault() More information at http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/main/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=LiveDocs_Parts&file=00000138.html I hope that helps...

der hess commented on moogaloop AS3

Hi Wesley, I wrote a VimeoWrapper Class in AS3, which dispatch some usefull Events like Buffering,VideoComplete, Playing, Pause and so on... you can have a look here http://blog.derhess.de/2009/08/12/working-with-vimeo-moogaloop-api-in-flash/ http://blog.derhess.de/2009/08/14/vimeo-moogaloop-in-flex-flexvimeoplayer-component/ Unfortunately, I could not find any acess for the loading process :-( Best regards, Flo

Hm... why do you call this function two times?! It makes no sense... Anyway, I wrote a VimeoWrapper Class in AS3 which delivers a PlayingState. So you can check if the Video buffers and after this buffering process you can call your second loadVideo() function. Maybe this ugly workaround works for you?! Here are my two classes. One for Flash http://blog.derhess.de/2009/08/12/working-with-vimeo-moogaloop-api-in-flash/ and the other one for the Flex Framework http://blog.derhess.de/2009/08/14/vimeo-moogaloop-in-flex-flexvimeoplayer-component/
