Elizabeth Fonacier has always had a deep appreciation for works of art which exhibit universal concepts implemented through technique and skill. Her work and education speak to this connection, engaging culture, science, and belief in a new conversation about reality.
Elizabeth was accepted to Kendall College of Art and Design while still attending high school in her home town of Grand Rapids, MI. After studying under a technical institute for several years, Elizabeth transferred to the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In 2010, she received her BFA ending 7 years of institutional oversight to her work. The combination of two different philosophies on Art Education, technical and conceptual , greatly enriched and attuned Elizabeth giving her the foundation for creatively exploring this world.
Since graduating, Elizabeth's interests have revolved around the metaphysics and fringe sciences. Working with meditation, Elizabeth has begun the process of emptying her mind, clearing her consciousness, and looking at what is left. Seeking truth in life, in humanity, and in her own spirit, she now produces work on the concepts of love, creation, inter-connectiveness, and perceptions of reality.
